WE’RE BACK BABY (BY OUR STANDARDS AT LEAST)… AND ANOTHER CUP!!! 🥳😎🥈🏆
Not gonna lie (and our posts haven’t) that the last few races we’ve been on the struggle bus 🚎. Lost speed. Lost confidence. Bad moves. Underperforming finishes. Etc 👎🏼
Good news to report… after a week of talks, coaching and a lot of practice, Little E turned it around and got back to his early season form (and speed).
We walked away from Championship Series 7 with newfound confidence as we head into the second half of the year. And we walked away with a Cup!!
After the race, it POURED so we got to play in the rain!!

Qualifying: P5 (of 14)
A-Main: P5->P4
Recap: Goal #1 was to qualify in the top 6 to avoid the B-main. Done!! At the start of the race we got shuffled back playing bumper cars. But was able to take advantage of some other’s misfortunes and run some fast laps to grab a 4th. We had a top 5 car and finished top 5. Good day!

Qualifying: P3 (of 6)
A-Main: P3->P2 🥈🏆
Recap: The Animal Cup race is one of our favorites of the year… and E desperately wanted another Cup! And he was on it. Small mistake in qualifying put him 3rd. On the start he made a great move to take the lead only to get crossed back over. But then he and his buddy Edison (Awesomeness Racing Team) put on a great show running nose-to-tail for nearly 40 laps. Both cars were very equal, so it was hard to make a clean pass. Whichever one was out front was probably gonna win. But it was a great, clean race. And we got our second Cup trophy this year (after never getting a podium in any Cup race we’ve run prior to this year). And we got back to the times we know we can run in this car!

Qualifying: P7 (of 12)
A-Main: P7->P5
Recap: This class is soooo close. We qualified 7th less than a 0.1 off the pole. On the start we got jacked up from behind and fell to pLAST. This race was a roller coaster - back to front to back to front. Despite getting spun and making several passes that didn’t count, E drove better than he has in weeks and was able to finish 5th. Super proud of this race.
