Darlington Nationals D.3 Recap

HOLY. 💩. WHERE TO BEGIN 🤗🥰🤯

Our goals for this weekends NASCAR Youth Series National event at Darlington Raceway were met yesterday, when we put two cars in A-Mains in a stacked senior field. So whatever happened today was just gravy for our young driver.

Well… what happened today was Little E showed up against the best and drove his butt off and finished 4th in the Lt 160 A-Main and 6th in Sr Animal!!

A-Main: P8->P6

Recap: What a drive!!! Starting 8th he fell to last on the outside, then proceeded to RACE his way to the front. No lucky cautions. No missing accidents. He raced from 10th to the bumper of 4th. They then got in a crossover battle which allowed the car behind to catch them both and E feel back to 6th at the checkers. But he was there. Our best ever national finish.  Until….

Heat: P10->P4

Recap: Maybe the best race of Elliott’s career. Again, no lucky cautions and big wrecks. He drove past some of the best senior QM kids in the country in arguably the toughest class. He caught 4th (the amazing Super K Motorsports) and got in a crossover battle. Once he passed him he set sights on 3rd (also super fast Leighton Rose Racing) and was catching him, but the laps ran out. But he went from the C-Main to finish 4th in the A!!!  Now our best National finish ever. (And he just missed out on the hard charger award, but congrats Murray Racing Team👊🏼).

Congrats to our buds Awesomeness Racing Team, Jirik Racing and Case James Racing on their national wins.

The kid was on it like we never saw. We are flat out amazed by his driving this weekend. We couldn’t be more proud. And thankful for all the congrats we got.
