Indy Nationals Recap | Day 2 Recap (Part 1) ☔️🤬

It's raining. That’s its. That’s the update. They got in just one race this morning before the clouds opened up. Looks like we will be down until sometime around 2-3pm today. So likely just the rest of the heats later, and (hopefully) the lap around the big track.

 But we were able to kiss the bricks 🧱 this morning - and hang out with some friends. Also waiting out the rain by eating pancakes (good but not as good as Cascade Milling).

And AMAZING to see some of my good friends (Koerner Racing, Bos Racing) sporting their “Little E” t-shirts. Hope it changes your luck Bryce!!

Indy Nationals Recap | Day 2 Recap (Part 2)

Today was full of rain, fun, more rain, a little bit of racing, more rain and a lap around the big track.

Heat: P8->P3 🥉

Recap: Very similar to Honda.. it was not pretty early We started 8th and knew we had a big task in front of us. We had some good initial starts and got all the way up to 2nd and 3rd. But they were all called off because of crashes. Eventually, we went single file to start, which is tough starting 8th. Once E got his groove, he made a bunch of good moves, but kept getting unlucky cautions. Eventually, at the end, E made his way up to 3rd and going 8 to 3, putting us 2nd in the B Main, or 8th of 39 cars here! 

We also got to do the lap around the big track. It wasn’t without its issues (video coming soon 🤣🤪) but it was still a blast.

Tomorrow, we run our 160 Heat race… and hopefully put it in a A, B or C main… and have the rest of the day off.
