MORE RAIN 😩☔️ AND SOME CONFIDENCE 🤣😜
 

What do you know… more rain. But today we actually ran TWO races… oh the joys of national races. But boy it was worth it.

🥞 Cascade Milling Light 160 🥞

Heat: P3->P5

Recap: Guess this was our mulligan heat. A pileup on lap 1 knocked our chain off and resulted in us starting in the back. After getting up to 4th we got spun (with the offending car not getting a strike 🤷🏻‍♂️) and restarted 8th again. Finally made some good moves but could only get back to 5th.

F-Main: P4->P2🥈 (TRANSFER)

Recap: He finally figured it out!!! 💪🏼 After making a few changes to the car, Elliott found his aggression and came to life. In a TOUGH lower main, he made some amazing passes, blocked the low line and held off some fast cars during several late cautions. He held onto 2nd behind his  buddy Case James Racing and transferred to the E Main tomorrow. 

While transferring from the F to the E Main might not seem like a lot, we saw a totally different driver and someone who found his confidence. And was a FAST car. And transferring in any lower main at a national event - let alone in Lt. 160.

All our cars are still alive… Tomorrow we run more lowers… E in Lt 160, C in Sr Honda and B in Sr Animal - in hopes to get one in an A on Sunday.
