FRUSTRATION BUT A TON OF PRIDE 😡😍
 

Well our Indy Nationals have come to a close. Unfortunately we didn’t put any cars in A Mains… but it wasn’t for a lack of effort. But just too many mistakes on the track to overcome.

But looking at the big picture… we couldn’t be any more proud.

We ended our weekend in B, C and D Mains - in classes with some of the biggest car counts and with J and I mains. All in our first National event as a Senior.

We transferred through multiple lower mains (from the F to the E to the D) in our worst class (Lt 160).

We raced in a transfer spot against some of the best in Sr Honda for the entire race - just to make a mistake at the end.

And it’s only our 4th parking lot race EVER. A lot  of these kids have run four THIS YEAR.

It’s easy to get frustrated - we know we got work to do- but big picture, we are SUPER HAPPY.

C-Main: P5->P7

Recap: A heartbreaker. 💔 he ran 3rd or 4th in a transfer spot for 23 of 25 laps. But a mistake at the end left the bottom open for some veteran drivers and we were knocked back. 😩

B-Main: P2->P6

Recap: Messed up the first 15 laps by getting freight trained to the back and getting 💩 on our tires. Ran some bad fast laps at the end, but ran out of time with no cautions.

E-Main: P8->P4

D-Main: P10->P9

Recap: Two different kids - F and E Main Elliott was AGGRESSIVE and made big moves to the front. D Main Elliott was timid and didn’t protect the bottom. But still a good run!

 Big congrats to all my friends who made As for tomorrow including Aleah Rose Racing for putting two cars in the As!!!
